The Renato Scrollavezza's School of Violin Making, founded in 1975 at the Conservatorio Arrigo Boito, is one of the leading European educational institutions in the field of violin making.

Constantly directed since its birth by M° Renato Scrollavezza, the School of Parma is where many of today’s best-known violin makers have learned their craft; the School is appreciated for its great selectivity, an emphasis placed on practical workshop training and the attention individually reserved to each pupil.

"Castello della Musica”, in Noceto, a town locate about fifteen kilometres from Parma. Here the School is organised by Liuteria Parmense with the support of Noceto Township.
